Game Drives in Johannesburg

Quad biking on a private farm past herds of wildlife, is another different aspect of game viewing, as well as mountain biking. If you do not have too much time on your hands, game viewing from the back of a horse, just outside the city limits, is a wonderful opportunity to see giraffe, different types of antelope, wildebeest, as well as rhino and zebra.

The Lion Park, just north of Sandton, is home to more than 70 lions, including white lions, as well as wild dogs, cheetahs, hyenas, black leopards and other small wildlife. Guests are able to do a five hour daily tour.
